Michael Smith has been a Respiratory Therapist for 38 years with the last 25 years working as a NICU therapist. He is part of the SIM team, which is responsible for projects to improve NICU Physicians and staff. Michael was part of the team that created the Cooling protocol as well as the disaster plan. He has been a licensed N.R.P. instructor for several years. He has extensive knowledge and experience as a respiratory instructor for Respiratory Therapists, Nurses, physician residents, and staff.
