Kamyar graduated from medical school at the UWO in 1994 and completed his residency in general surgery at U of Ottawa in 1999. His two year vascular fellowship was at McMaster and University of Sydney NSW. In 2001 he joined the vascular team at Royal columbian hospital in Greater Vancouver. He is the head of vascular surgery for the Fraser Health Authority and the President of the vascular society of British Columbia. Kamyar helped develop the endovascular program at RCH and has special interest and experience in complex endovascular aortic aneurysm interventions.
