Overall program objectives: This course is designed for Family P hysicians, Specialists, and Allied Health Care professionals. The aim is to provide evidence-based material as well as practical and relevant clinical pearls that will be easy to implement into one’s medical practice. Conference attendees will be invited to complete a pre-course Needs Assessment to facilitate the faculty with the development of their presentations.

ACCREDITATION:This Group Learning Program meets the certification criteria ofthe College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada for up to 18.00 MAINPRO+ credits. This event meets the criteria as an Accredited Group Learning Activity Section 1, Maintenance of Certification (MOC), of the Royal College of Physicians and
Surgeons of Canada for 18.00 hours. Members of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) are eligible to receive up to 18.00 prescribed hours for attendance at this event due to a reciprocal agreement with the CFPC. When reporting to the
AAFP, credits earned must be reported as MAINPRO+ The American Medical Association (AMA) accepts the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) 18.00 AAFP Prescribed credit as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1™ Credit for the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA). Each physician should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in this activity.
