Dr. Gil Lichtshein is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist based in Boca Raton, FL. He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago and completed his psychiatric residency at the University of Maryland/ Sheppard Pratt Psychiatry Residency Program, and his fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.
As a dedicated researcher, Dr. Lichtshein has authored or co-authored numerous articles and has participated in more than 20 research projects. He is also a regular presenter for CME activities including his most recent talks about updated treatments for ADHD, TMS, and the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
Since 2005, Dr. Lichtshein has served as an Clinical Affiliate Assistant Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at The Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton. He held prior academic positions at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry, Miami, FL., and the University of Florida School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry in Gainesville, FL.
