Jill Trinacty is a Nova Scotia native and obtained her medical degree at Dalhousie University. She completed her Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology and Metabolism residencies at University of Ottawa where she is presently a lecturer. She obtained her American Board of Obesity Medicine designation in 2021. She currently practices at LMC Ottawa, Bariatric Medical Institute and Bruyere Continuing Care. She currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Endocrinology and Metabolism section of the OMA.
