Dr. Suzanne Beno is a Paediatric Emergency Medicine specialist and Medical Director for Trauma at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto Ontario. She is Chair of the Injury Prevention Committee for the Canadian Paediatric Society, and both the SickKids Site Lead and an editorial committee member for TREKK, Canada’s national knowledge mobilization organization for improving acute pediatric care. She has completed the University of Toronto Excellence in Quality Improvement Certificate Program, and remains an active hospital quality leader, and a coach with the Centre for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety. Dr. Beno’s professional interests focus on the continuing advancement and improvement of paediatric trauma care and injury prevention/control.
