Dr. Sanjay Pandeya joined Halton Healthcare as a Staff Nephrologist in Oakville in the year 2000. He serves as the Medical Director of the Multi-Care Kidney Clinics, and Peritoneal Dialysis and Home Hemodialysis. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at McMaster University since 2014. Dr. Pandeya is currently the President-Elect of the Canadian Society of Nephrology (CSN) – this being the first time in the 50 year history of the CSN that a Nephrologist not based at an academic institution/university has been elected to this Office. He previously served on the Executive and Board of the (CSN) as Secretary-Treasurer (2011-2016). He has recently been nominated to the Board of Directors for the Ontario Chapter of the Kidney Foundation and was accepted as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians in 2018. Along with maintaining a robust clinical practice, he is actively involved in clinical research and has collaborated in several peer-reviewed research projects and publications with academic colleagues. Dr. Pandeya completed his medical degree at the University of Ottawa in 1995, and received his specialty certification in Internal Medicine in 1999 and subspecialty certification in Nephrology training at the University of Western Ontario in 2000.
