Rick is a community-based Family Physician practicing in a large interdisciplinary medical home in NW Calgary. Dr. Ward is Clinical Associate Professor in the Cummings School of Medicine at the University of Calgary and has special clinical interest in Chronic Disease Management, Mental Health and team based Primary Care. He has a leadership position with Alberta Health Services – Medical Director, Primary Care for the Calgary Zone. Rick has been active in Continuing Medical Education development for over 2 decades- nationally and internationally.
