Dr. Rahim Valani has been practicing emergency medicine in some of Canada’s busiest emergency departments for over 18 years. He is Associate Professor at the University of Toronto and is also the Chair of the Best Evidence in Emergency Medicine program.
Dr. Valani has a strong interest in medical education, specifically in curriculum development, including inter-professional education, international medical education and development of educational plans. Dr. Valani also holds a Masters in Medical Education and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, with specializations in operations, finance and strategic management. He is currently implementing data driven decision processes in the clinical realm to improve patient outcomes and metrics.
