Dr. Nathan Roth has been active in Women’s Health Care Leadership, Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility for over 30 years. He has organized, participated, and chaired local, regional, and national committees.
He has a Master of Law Degree from Osgoode Law School and a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma from McGill. He is the current Chair of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology Section.
Dr. Roth is an invited Lecturer and assistant professor at the University of Toronto and has been an educator at New York University and Bellevue Hospitals. A graduate of McGill University, he was awarded the BMO Making a Difference Award. He is a graduate of the National Leadership Institute at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina. He has a Masters’s Certification in the Physician Leadership Development Program at the Schulich and the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Program at the University of Toronto.
He was a past Medical Advisor at the College of Physicians and Surgeons and provides independent expert opinions throughout the country. Dr. Roth has been involved in leadership at The Scarborough Hospital Network as the president of the Medical Staff Association, board member of the Medical Advisory Council, and program leader. He is the Medical Director of Hope Fertility.
His special interests are dispute resolution, organizational governance, and creating enhanced value through a transformative framework for patient-centred quality outcomes. He is currently the Cancer Care Ontario Regional Lead for Cervical Screening and Colposcopy, creating innovation in health equity that has expanded to Africa.
