Dr. Mark Feldman is the Director of Continuing Education for the Department of Paediatrics at The Hospital for Sick Children and the University of Toronto. He is a Professor and a general consultant paediatrician at ‘SickKids’ and at St. Joseph’s Health Centre. Dr. Feldman leads SickKids’ annual Paediatric Update, City Wide Paediatric Rounds and the Community Paediatrics Journal Club in Toronto. He initiated and leads the ‘Community Paediatrics Fellowship’ and co-leads the SickKids’ Teaching Scholars Program at the Hospital for Sick Children. Past leadership positions include ‘Chief of Paediatrics’ at Scarborough Grace Hospital and ‘Chief of Paediatrics’ at St. Joseph’s Health Centre as well as ‘Director of Community Paediatrics’ for the University of Toronto. He has authored national guidelines for the Canadian Paediatric Society and has published research and commentaries in peer-reviewed journals including the New England Journal of Medicine, Pediatrics and the Lancet. Dr. Feldman was awarded the ‘Best Clinical Teacher Award’ at St. Joseph’s Health Centre and both the ‘Marvin Gerstein’ and the ‘POWER Teacher’ awards at the Hospital for Sick Children. One of Dr. Feldman’s main clinical interests is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and his current educational research is in the area of ‘Test-enhanced’ Continuing Education’.
