Dr. Liesl Roome, a physician at myoClinic Brentwood Bay, brings a wealth of experience to the realm of pain management. Graduating as a general practitioner in South Africa in 1999, she relocated to Canada in 2013, initially working in a busy family practice.
Her focus shifted in 2015 when patient demand led her to explore trigger point injections and myoActivation, a technique developed by Dr. Gregory Siren. Impressed by the immediate positive impacts on pain and mobility, she pursued dedicated training, under the guidance of Dr. Siren, and ultimately joining him at his clinic in Victoria.
In 2017, Dr. Roome transitioned full-time to pain management, recognizing the critical need for effective chronic pain solutions. At the myoClinic Brentwood Bay, she provides specialized care to patients referred from across Vancouver Island. Additionally, as a faculty member of The Foundation of Anatomic Medicine, she contributes to physician education, including the development and instruction of a novel approach to constant pain management.
Drawing from both professional expertise and personal experience with chronic pain, Dr. Roome offers a balanced and informed perspective on pain relief and improved quality of life.
