Dr. Jaggi Rao is a board-certified dermatologist licensed in both Canada and the United States. He is also a certified cosmetic and laser surgeon. Dr. Rao serves as a Clinical Professor of Medicine and the previous Dermatology Residency Program Director at the University of Alberta. He is also the founder and Team Lead for ConsultDERM™, a popular and successful teledermatology platform which helps physicians and patients in several Canadian provinces and territories. In addition to the daily training of residents, medical students and nurses, Dr. Rao is a very popular speaker for the medical community, delivering dozens of lectures a year at local, national and international meetings. He is an accomplished author, peer reviewer and associate editor for prominent medical journals, and has won numerous clinical, leadership and academic awards, including the Canadian Dermatology Association (CDA) Teaching Award of Excellence.
