Dr. Hanif Jamal, MD, CCFP, FCFP, is a seasoned medical leader with over 20 years of experience contributing to the innovative advancement of healthcare. During his tenure as Canadian Medical Director of Teladoc Health Canada, he played a key role in launching virtual care and mental health programs in Canada.

His commitment to innovation further extended to his time as an Innovation Lead and Executive Health Physician at Cleveland Clinic Canada. There, he collaborated on developing novel healthcare delivery models tailored to Canadian policies and culture. He was also instrumental in developing the Canadian Concierge and virtual care service lines.

Beyond these corporate roles, Dr. Jamal demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit as the Medical Director and Founder of Oakville Concierge Medicine. Recognized by the Chamber of Commerce for its service to the community, OCM has maintained an industry-leading client retention rate over the past decade through its preventative health assessments and complex case management. His clinical expertise is further evident from his 20+ years of hospitalist experience at Halton Healthcare, where he has held numerous leadership roles.

An active advocate for system-wide improvement, Dr. Jamal has served as President of the Halton Healthcare Professional Staff Association and as a Board Director. He has also served as a consultant for healthcare start-up Dialogue Health and is the Corporate Medical Director for Hamilton International Airport. His experience further encompasses medical-legal consulting, where his expertise is sought after by organizations like the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
