Dr. Carson is a graduate of Queen’s University medical school who did residency at the Boston Hospital for Women and Royal Victoria Hospital in Montréal and Maternal Fetal Medicine at McGill University.
He practiced obstetrics and maternal fetal medicine to Calgary and then in Regina from 1989. He was founding cochair of the ALARM course. He has been co-author of several Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists guidelines. He served on the SOGC Board and was president in 2016 – 17. He is been head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Regina and later Senior Medical Officer for Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region. He is a Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Saskatchewan.
