Dr. Russell trained in the UK -at Cambridge and Guys. He worked at the Hammersmith then a research fellowship in Dallas. Dr. Russell came back to the UK to be a senior reg. at The Canadian Red Cross memorial hospital in Taplow and the West London. Following that he left for Canada-initially for 2 years as an assistant professor at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, and decided to stay! Dr. Russell had a year in Geneva with WHO, and spent a few months in Montpellier, and in Perth, but still enjoys Canada-although it does get chilly now and again.
