Dr. Alan Brookstone is an addiction medicine and family physician licensed to practice within British Columbia and an internationally recognized expert on Electronic Medical Records and health information technology. He has over 30 years of clinical experience and more than 20 years of experience as a health IT consultant and has worked on regional, provincial and national programs at the operational and strategic planning levels in Canada, the United States and Singapore. Dr. Brookstone is past clinical lead for the Surrey North Delta division of family practice Pathways implementation project. Since 2010, Dr. Brookstone has limited his clinic practice to managing patients with opioid use disorder through the Alliance Clinic in Surrey and since 2014, Dr. Brookstone has been the Program Administrator for Precision Medical Monitoring Limited.
