Dear Friends,
We don’t need to tell you, that it has been a long and challenging 16 months. When the pandemic first shut things down, our priority was to get people home. Then we dealt with cancellations and the postponements of planned CME AWAY® trips. We have not operated a CME trip, for obvious reasons, since February 2020. We have worked with our travel suppliers to obtain refunds or suitable credits for future travel.
But, while all this was going on, we have been working on a return to service, so that you can resume safe group learning & travelling experiences once again. As we finally look ahead to significant increases in vaccination delivery and monitor policies in Canada and other countries, we are hopeful that safe advances and improvements are coming soon. While it disappoints us each time we postpone an upcoming conference, we assure you it is in everyone’s best interest and safety based on the available information. We have “weathered the storm” thus far and could not be more appreciative of your continued loyalty and support. We very much look forward to delivering our world-renowned CME AWAY® trips to you again in the near future.
We intend to resume operating trips starting this September and throughout the fall. A complete list of trips available can be found on our website www.seacourses.com. These CME AWAY® trips include ocean cruises, river cruises, expedition cruises, resort stays and tours throughout the world. Many trips are filling up as everyone looks forward to the return to travel.

In this difficult time when physical distancing is a necessity, the team at CME AWAY® remains close to you in spirit.
We continue to plan future CME AWAY® trips, driven by feedback from you that you will need an escape more than ever when we emerge together from this crisis into brighter days.
Travel has obviously been seriously impacted. We don’t know exactly when restrictions will be lifted and when we’ll all feel comfortable setting out to new horizons, but when that day comes, we will be ready. We hope you will be too.
We know how important it is to you. We also know that doctors need escape, rejuvenation and a chance to focus their thoughts on continuous learning and professional growth. These are the core values of our CME AWAY® trips.

CME AWAY® by Sea Courses recognizes the gravity of the current situation regarding the COVID-19 Coronavirus. While these are unprecedented times, the situation will return to normal. We are doing our best to keep up with all the changes and travel restrictions being implemented, many without warning.
Effective immediately, we are postponing all CME AWAY® trips scheduled to depart prior to June 1, 2020. We will get in touch with everyone affected over the next few days. Our first priority is to repatriate clients that have travelled and are out of the country at this time.
