COVID-19 Survey Results

First and foremost, we want to thank you for taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback regarding these matters and your stance on how we can proceed to best serve you. We wish you continued health and safety and want to be ready to welcome you back, when things are safe to do so, for a very well-deserved, restful getaway.

The overwhelming majority of doctors want to get back to travelling on a CME AWAY trip after this is over (92%).

However, only 29% are prepared to travel until it is resolved, i.e. there is a vaccine. Most respondents said this wouldn’t be for six to nine months. While we have cancelled or postponed most trips throughout 2020, we are still planning on operating trips in November and December of 2020 and will have a full roster (with some new additions) for 2021.

There is no question that resort and land tours are more in favour. There is definitely concern with cruise ships. Small ship cruising seems to have more appeal.

Better health protocols will be well received. We are receiving updated health protocols from all of our travel partners and will be sharing these with you.

The top six preferred destinations were as follows:

Europe, Australia/New Zealand, Canada, Caribbean, South Pacific, South America

Availability of cancellation insurance ranks high (over 80%). We offer both Manulife Insurance  and Collette Protection Plan. Both have Cancel for any reason options.
