Departing February 14th, 2026 - February 21st, 2026
The Canadian Academy of Pain Management (CAPM) is dedicated to promoting excellence of care for patients living with pain.
Our 16 hour program provides a comprehensive opportunity for healthcare professionals to enhance their expertise and make informed decisions in pain management. As a result of completing the course, you will gain a deeper understanding of the conditions, comorbidities, and syndromes associated with pain, preparing them to effectively manage these issues.
You will develop the ability to distinguish between nociceptive, neuropathic and nociplastic pain conditions through an expert history and physical examination, allowing for accurate diagnosis and targeted treatment. The course also helps you assess a patient’s readiness for therapeutic change and identify obstacles to achieving it, enabling tailored, effective interventions. As scholars, participants will become adept at recognizing and managing chronic pain syndromes while also considering the unique needs of specific patient populations.
Additionally, learners will refine their skills as collaborators, making informed decisions about the most appropriate therapies, whether pharmaceutical, non-pharmaceutical, or interventional. Completing the CAPM course positions participants as experts in the field, empowering them to make significant contributions to patient care and pain management.
