About The Speaker
Dr. Ahmed has been a Family Physician since 1998 and obtained a Fellowship with the College of Family Physicians in 2016. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Alberta with a dual appointment in the Departments of Family Medicine and Psychiatry. Dr. Ahmed works in a number of clinics in Edmonton. These include a Multi-disciplinary Primary Care clinic and an adult psychiatry clinic. He previously worked in an Inner City Clinic treating patients with addictions and mental health challenges.
He is actively involved in teaching students, allied health care professionals and fellow physicians. He is also involved in program development for physicians at a local, regional and national level.
Dr Ahmed is the current Secretary of the Executive Board of CADDRA (Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance). He was involved in publishing the recent psychosocial guidelines for the treatment of ADHD.

About The Speaker
Dr. Olszynski is a well-known clinician, educator, and clinical trial investigator in the field of arthritis, osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseases, as well as immune disorders, since 1989.
He completed his medical training at the medical school in Warsaw, Poland and subsequently completed his internal medicine and rheumatology training at the University of Saskatchewan.
As founding director of the Saskatoon Osteoporosis Centre and Arthritis Clinic in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan he coordinates a multi-disciplinary centre for the evaluation and management of osteoporosis, and other metabolic bone disorders.
Dr. Olszynski is the author of many publications and reviews. He actively participates on the Advisory Council for Osteoporosis Canada and as an opinion expert for the International Society of Clinical Densitometry (ISCD).
In addition to his busy practice in rheumatology, he also serves as Clinical Professor of the Department of Medicine with involvement in under-and-post-graduate teaching.
Dr. Olszynski is a member of many international professional associations as well as the 2007 Gold Medal recipient of the Albert Schweitzer World Academy of Medicine Award for Humanity and Medicine.

Day 1 – July 19 Valletta, Malta
Today you will arrive into the beautiful medieval city of Valletta Malta, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Centre. In the afternoon there will be CME sessions and the evening will be yours to explore.

Day 2 – July 20 Valletta, Malta
This morning you will start the day with CME Sessions and in the afternoon, your unforgettable cruise begins . You will be transferred to your Emerald Cruises luxury yacht for the start of your marvellous voyage through the Mediterranean. (B&D)
Day 3– July 21 Mgarr, Malta
Your first stop is Mgarr, a small Maltese village known for its picturesque countryside and agricultural landscape, with abundant vineyards and olive groves scattered throughout the area. Translating as 'castle"' or 'port' in Arabic, Mazara looks directly out across the Strait of Sicily; its position in fact, the exact reason, it developed as a strategic focal point and crossroads for cultures that successively arrived here over the centuries.
