About The Speaker
Dr. Hatcher graduated with her MD in 1982 from Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN). She received certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada, the Canadian College of Health Service Executives and holds a Diplomate with the Canadian Academy of Pain Management (CAPM).
She has received the Canadian Psychiatric Association’s Mental Health Awareness Award as well as a fellowship from the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
She has been a full-service rural family doctor, an emergency physician, full time academic and has a specialty in pain management and psychotherapy which she now does exclusively. Her focus is on a bio-psycho-social approach to pain management.
She is President of CAPM and a member of the Canadian Pain Society and the International Association for the Study of Pain. She has given almost 400 lectures in pain management to both national and international audiences.
She was an Associate Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and currently a Clinical Associate Professor at MUN.

About The Speaker
Dr. Lim graduated from the University of Alberta Family Residency Program in 1993 and has since built a distinguished career in primary care and business development. Over the past three decades, he has transitioned from managing a demanding solo practice of 100-hour workweeks to co-founding one of Alberta’s largest primary care community clinics. He played a pivotal role in launching the Sherwood Park Primary Care Network and co-developed a multi-modality wellness center serving over 2,000 patients daily. Additionally, he co-created an award-winning, 156-unit senior retirement residence designed for “aging with grace”.
In 2005, Dr. Lim was awarded the prestigious Alberta Centennial Medal in recognition of his outstanding contributions to geriatric home care.
As a passionate Serial Entrepreneur, Wing openly shares insights gained from his experiences—including challenges, setbacks, and key lessons. He is a highly sought-after speaker and podcaster, frequently presenting on topics such as practice transformation, leadership development, wealth paradigms and financial freedom. His presentations are inclusive of non-medical spouses, who often find validation, appreciation, and deeper alignment with their physician partners.
Wing is happily married to his wife, Kitty, and together they are blessed with three grown children.

She lectures both nationally and internationally in many areas of, pain management, mental health and communication skills. As well, Dr Hatcher sits on several national advisory panels for the management of chronic pain. For this CME, her topics will include Mood Disorders, Sleep Disorders, Non-pharmacological Approaches to Chronic Pain, Opioids and how to Avoid Lawsuits.
Dr. Wing Lim graduated from the University of Alberta Family Residency Program in 1993 and has embarked on an interesting though tortuous journey over the past 3 decades. From running an100 hour/work solo practice to cofounding one of the largest primary care community clinics in Alberta. He also co-launched the Sherwood Park Primary Care Network, co-developed a multi-modality Wellness Centre servicing 2,000 patients daily, as well as co-created an award-winning 156-unit ‘age in grace’ senior retirement residence. Day 1 Hong Kong

Day 2 At Sea
