Detailed Port Descriptions

Day 1 Athens, Greece

Home to the Acropolis, Athens has quite a reputation to live up to: Named to Athena, Goddess of Wisdom, the city is credited with being the cradle ot European civilization and birthplace of democracy. Today you will arrive and check into your hotel to start your Grecian Adventure. Hotel: TBA

Day 2 Athens Greece

After the morning at leisure, you will join the CME conference in the afternoon. Evening is on your own to explore the various neighbourhoods of Athens. Maybe you will dine at the hotel or enjoy one of the many restaurants in Plaka.

Day 3 Athens (Piraeus), Greece

Today will be spent in CME sessions where attendees will have a working lunch. After checking out of the hotel, you will find your way to Piraeus to board Azamara Onward.

Day 4 Syros, Greece

Perfectly blending the traditional with the modern, Syros offers visitors an authentic snapshot of Greek life in the beautiful Cyclades. Come for the laid back pace, stay for the bussing gastronomy scene. Opa!

Day 5 Volos, Greece

Dating back to the Neolithic age and famed as the mythical ‘City of the Argonauts’, bolos is a modern city in the heart of Greece, and is a place of immense natural beauty and numerous archaeological sites.

Days 6 & 7 Thessaloniki, Greece

As Greece’s second-biggest city and the Byzantine Empire’s second most important city, the word ‘second’ is often used to describe this port, but we’re here to tell you: Thessaloniki is anything but second-rate.

Day 8 Chios, Greece

Situated in the northern Aegean Sea, Chios is home to a collection of stunning beaches, historic medieval villages and a history that dates back to Neolithic times, making for a perfectly balanced vacation.

Day 9 Ephesus (Kusadasi), Turkey

Kusadasi is your port to the age old civilization of Ephesus, once the second largest metropolitan area in the Roman Empire, and famed for the Temple of Artemis, one of the wonders of the ancient world.

Day 10 Patmos, Greece

In Patmos, there is no missing the incredible Monastery of St. John, a massive dark 11th century fortress atop a hill, standing out against the traditional white houses of the village of Hora that surround it.

Day 11 Paros, Greece

The word picturesque must have been invented for the beguiling island of Paros, with its windmills, domed churches and houses in traditional Cycladic style , gleaming white and blue in the bright sunshine.

Days 10 - 12 Mykonos, Greece

With its many charms including iconic windmills, fabulous beaches and an irresistible traditional town of twisting streets and alleys, Mykonos is living proof that picture postcard destinations do exist.

Day 13 Athens (Piraeus), Greece

Today you will disembark the beautiful Azamara Onward after experiencing 2 countries, 9 ports and 2 overnight stays in port. You will bring home sun-soaked memories of ancient ruins and hidden coves.
