Dr. Rockwood is a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery,-(Orthopedics) at Memorial University. He currently serves as an Active Staff member at Eastern health, NLHS. Dr. Rockwood’s practice primarily consists of hip and knee arthroplasty with an interest in sports medicine. He obtained a Fellowship in Adult rReconstruction, and Trauma. He was previously a Royal College Examiner and currently teaches at both an undergraduate and postgraduate level. He was previously the Chair of Anatomy at Memorial University medical school. He has been an ATLS instructor for over 25 years. Dr. Rockwood has served on both provincial and national orthopaedic committees. He volunteers on surgical missions with Team Broken Earth.
